CR-X EF6 1.5X Dual Carb Tin Top. A Jap import with some desirable JDM extras. The car has been well minded for most of its life and never been abused. Still running stock setup and engine. It will make a great restoration project or ideal base for an engine swap. Engine & Mechanical : An attempt was made to get car back on the road in 2023. Unfortunately it overheated and was left sitting since. The water pump was replaced. The issue points towards a possible blown head gasket. Engine work will be required if keeping the original engine. A new head gasket kit and timing belt kit is included in the sale. Bodywork : The car was repainted in 2018 and still presents reasonably well, although it has some age-related marks, particularly on the front bumper. Interior : Very clean for its age. Front seats have no tears, just some collapsed foam on the driver's outer bolster. Rear bench has some tears in the leather but a replacement should be possible to source. JDM Extras : - Bronze-tinted glass - Factory fog lights, wired and working - Honda Access spoiler with brake light - Power-folding mirrors Bad Bits : - Both sills will need replacing. Covers haven't been removed, but replacement should be expected. Visible rust on driver's side shown in photos. - Passenger-side rear arch requires welding. - Engine requires attention due to overheating. - General age-related cosmetic marks. Overall : A genuine JDM CR-X with some lovely period extras. While it needs work, it's a great starting point for someone wanting to restore one of these increasingly hard-to-find Hondas or build something special with an engine conversion. Sold as a project requiring mechanical and welding work, not road-ready and will need trailering. NO BREAKERS OR TIMEWASTERS !! Won't entertain lowball offers.
