Jaguar XJ40 1986

Originally owned by Earl Spencer (princess Diana’s father), this car has been almost completely restored. Currently on 16” wheels but the original metric ones are included in sale. Engine and interior have been completely restored with just some minor exterior work remaining to restore it to full glory. Amazing spec for a 1986 car. Electric mirrors and seats and cruise control all working. NCT exempt, and classic tax and insurance. Comes with two sets of keys. Massive service history right back to original owner. Restoration so far includes suspension bushings, wheels, discs, pads and shoes all replaced. Alternator refurbished and new air box fitted. The only thing not working is the tape deck, but the radio and retracting arial work fine. Passenger seat has been reupholstered with a great colour match. Very comfortable to drive. Only selling because I need to fund another project. Open to negotiation, but no silly offers entertained.
