1992 Toyota Land Cruiser LJ78 EX Limited Reluctant sale of my 1992 Toyota Land Cruiser LJ78 EX Limited. I’ve owned it for the last two years and intended to keep it long-term, but with a new baby in the house it no longer makes sense to have it sitting in the shed. Current mileage is 232,000km. This Jeep has had a huge amount of work carried out over the last three years, both mechanically and cosmetically, with all work completed regardless of cost. It has been maintained by Dorgans and comes with a substantial history file documenting work carried out over the years. Recent work includes: • Brand new gearbox fitted at 227,000km • Timing belt and water pump replaced at 221,000km • Full service completed 1,000km ago (all oils, filters and greasing) • Extensive mechanical and bodywork improvements during my ownership • Over €12,000 invested in maintenance and repairs in the last two years This will also come with over €2,000 worth of spare parts that I had intended fitting, including: • Upgraded new clutch fan • New front brake discs • Full set of front correction castor bushes • New wiper motor • Radiator hoses and various additional parts The body presents very well for its age, the interior is clean and tidy, and it drives exactly as a Land Cruiser should. It turns heads everywhere it goes and is becoming increasingly difficult to find in this condition. In the interest of being completely honest, there are two issues I am aware of: • Small oil leak from the turbo, likely a seal • Slight oil leak from one front hub Neither issue has stopped me using or enjoying this Land Cruiser, but they have been reflected in the asking price. This is not a project and not a neglected Cruiser.
