Land Rover Lightweight Series 3 1979

I have owned this Lightweight for about 12 years and have kept it as a second vehicle on classic insurance and tax. Haven't used much in the last few years, so it will need light recommissioning to get back on the road. It starts and runs but the clutch pedal is seized, but had been driving fine before. Chassis has been repaired before but is solid. Recent work includes new alternator and radiator. Rocky Mountain Parabolic springs (Still have original military ones which will come with it) Fairey Overdrive fitted. Free wheel hubs. Door tops replaced with new galvanised units. Rear swing out tailgate. It is an ex-MOD Air-Portable Lightweight which is a very rare variant that was never sold to the public. The doors are narrower than a standard series 3 and can be removed in seconds. It came to me with a series 3, 2.25 diesel engine which starts easy and doesn't smoke. Will make a great jeep and suit an enthusiast as it is very easy to work on and all parts easily obtainable. I have a book of receipts plus the military history which will come with it for the new owner.
