I’m parting ways with my much-loved 1985 Range Rover Classic 3.5L. I had originally listed it last year but decided to hold onto it for a bit longer. Now, with limited use and plans for a family camper on the horizon, it’s time to let someone else enjoy it. Key Details: * 43,000 original miles * Imported from the UK in 2021, purchased from a Range Rover specialist * Sympathetically restored prior to my ownership, including: * Full respray in factory-correct finish * Refurbished alloys * New brakes & brake lines * Replacement lights and more Since owning it, I’ve made only one upgrade: * Replaced original Stromberg carbs with a 4-barrel Weber carb for improved performance and reliability – professionally installed by a specialist in Galway. * Other than that, it has been extremely dependable and required no further work. Mechanical & Condition: * Passed its final NCT in May last year with no advisories – the inspector commented on the excellent condition of the chassis with no signs of welding * Now over 40 years old – NCT exempt * Interior is in superb, original condition, including a full set of new Range Rover mats (removed for photos) * Brand new alternator fitted recently This is a genuinely solid, classic 4x4 that’s been well cared for and lightly used.
