1988 Mercedes 190 2.0 Carb Unfortunately with a heavy heart I am listing my 190 for sale In a unique combo of ivory over safari beige with a cranberry interior. Starting with the obvious, the car needs work. The car is running, driving and will get you anywhere you need to go. But as with most 190s the body work has suffered. There is rust present in all four wheel arches and while scabby, it has not lost any structural integrity or formed holes. There is some work required at the base of the rear windscreen, and one patch required in the floor by the sunroof drain. The owner before me had the car for many years and treated it very well before I bought it intending to set it right but reality has set in that I’m not getting it sorted anytime soon. The car deserves someone who can give it a better life than I can, it’s only got 83k miles, so with some work would be a cool and reliable car for years to come in a fairly unique spec. Respectfully, I’m not looking for any new friends, or people coming to poke holes in its flaws, it needs work so please be accepting of that before you call.
