Mr D'Arcys are offering for sale, this pristine Mercedes 350SL. Originally purchased new in 1973, it has an interesting history, as it was transported to the US in 1985 by its owner who was transferred by his company.It returned to UK in 1990, and stayed with the same owner until it was sold to Ireland upon his death in 2005.It changed hands again in 2021, and was sold by ourselves in January 2025. The last owner has spent considerable time and effort to make it even better. It comes in oriol black, with black leather interior. Whilst in the US, she had a wheels upgrade to the more prestigious alloys fitted to the 560SL at the time. Whilst not standard, they certainly do enhance the style and posture, as well as complimenting the spotless black paintwork and chrome. This car is being sold by us on behalf of its current owner who has decided upon another project. It comes with hard and soft tops which are in excellent condition, with no signs of wear whatsoever. Everything on this Merc is working as it should, and it comes with a very nice file of old MOTS, receipts, and import export paperwork. Has to be seen in the flesh to be appreciated. These R107 mercs are increasing in value, and with this being one of the early ones in this colour that is in such good condition, it truly is a good investment.
