Mercedes-Benz 306d Tipper Lorry

I believe this is very rare original Mercedes 306D Tipper Lorry. It is basically a small commercial vehicle with a hydraulic tipping body. Based on the Hanomag-Henschel design with front-wheel drive and a 4-cylinder OM615 diesel engine coupled to a 4 speed gearbox. Traditional Mercedes-Benz "clap hands" windscreen wipers and the doors have sliding windows (pre wind up windows). There is also a small tool box located between the two front seats that can double as an extra seat. Just one previous UK owner and imported into Ireland in 2011 as part of a collection. Garaged and sheltered much of its life, this Mercedes-Benz would have had a very easy life to have survived in this excellent condition at now 50 years old. The body is like new with timber sides and aluminium floor, so no rust. The lifting ram works perfectly, which can be demonstrated. This is quite a small lorry, 15 feet 6 inches long and 6 feet 5 inches at its widest point, so limited space is required for storage.
