Mercedes E300D W124

Mercedes-Benz W124 – OM606 3.0 NA Diesel Modern classic Mercedes W124 with the desirable OM606 naturally aspirated inline-six diesel engine, producing 136 PS. Recently had a new head gasket, fresh oil, coolant and all filters. Also fitted with a new engine wiring loom, wiper motor and fan belt. Starts first time, every time. 4-speed automatic gearbox. Good condition considering its age and a great usable classic. Passed NCT last June, backdated until September 2027, which will be its last NCT as the car reaches 40 years old. It’s not a concours example, but it could be a very nice car with some TLC and attention to detail. These diesel W124s are becoming increasingly sought after, and there aren’t many good ones around. The OM606 is a robust, naturally aspirated straight-six diesel that will happily take you anywhere. And with today’s fuel prices, it still makes sense as a daily driver. Old-school indirect fuel injection, largely mechanical and without all the complicated electronics found in modern cars. No touchscreens, no online services, no subscriptions — just proper Mercedes engineering. A true analogue modern classic with plenty of character and plenty of life left in it. Genuine reason for sale. Serious enquiries only, please. Please don’t message simply asking “still available?” or “last price?” — messages like these will not be answered. If you’re genuinely interested in the car, feel free to get in touch. €5000 Interior photos to follow.
