Mercedes SL 280 auto

Bit of a project but in the right hands this could be on the road for summer. Starts runs drives stops ok, will need tyres and brake fluid flush for nct. Body very good, needs absolutely no welding. Both hard top and soft top here, both in good condition. No tears or leaks. The soft top is hesitating sometimes, probably an air lock in the hydraulics but i have had it go up and down fully itself. I have replaced the broken hydraulic line and the are no leaks. The body wiring harness was cut and rejoined badly where it passes the drivers sill (see photo), will need to be redone. Currently because of this the fuel pump is running only when jumped straight to the battery, i am working on fixing this.
