Vehicle Overview
Description
1967 MG Midget Mk II – Rust-Free & Running – Excellent Rolling Restoration A highly desirable, chrome-bumper 1967 MG Midget (1098cc). This car was placed into dry storage 20 years ago in excellent condition. It has recently been pulled out, and after 30min prep, the engine starts easily and runs beautifully. The single biggest selling point of this Midget is the structural condition. The bodywork is exceptionally solid with no rust. Original chrome bumpers are intact .Sills, floor pans, and A-pillars are in fantastic, solid condition—unusual for a Midget of this era. The paint has a lovely "time capsule" look from its years in storage but would come up beautifully with a deep detail. Features the classic 1098cc engine. Starts immediately and runs very smoothly (video of cold start available upon request). It has not been driven on the road due to its long stint in storage. While it runs and has a solid shell, please note this is a rolling restoration project. It cannot be driven home and will need to be trailered away. To be made fully roadworthy, it will require typical recommissioning after 20 years of sitting, including: Full brake overhaul (cylinders/hoses). Fresh set of tyres (existing ones are aged). Fresh fluids, filters, and a general check-over. UK registered.V5C logbook present. .Viewings highly recommended to appreciate how solid this shell is.
