Mk II Jaguar

This 1965 Mk II Jaguar was bought through my wedding car company in 2019 as a nut and bolt restoration for £28,000. She had been parked up since 1973, before being sold to her 3rd owner as a barn find by Bonham’s in 2009. She was reregistered in 2014 using her original reg JLN 147D and in 2016 confirmed in writing by The Jaguar Enthusiasts Club as a Nut and Bolt restoration with a suggested insurance value of £40k. She arrived in Ireland with just 18k original miles and MOTs and NCTs confirming mileage every year from 2016 to Nov 2024. The last NCT expired Nov 2025. She has completed just 52k miles in her lifetime, with 34k of that being Ireland, specifically as a wedding car. Some of the work was rebuilding the head, replacing the steering box with a rack and pinion and adding a coolant reservoir. Most recent work was at 800 miles ago. Transmission fluid change, new brake reservoir bottle and fluid, two new front springs. 1900 miles ago, 2 new rear shock absorbers, Oil change, new front brake pads, rear axel oil change Condition - Timber trim/Dashboard- 100% Headliner - 100% Upholstery - original with picnic tables Underbody - some surface rust and some body filler has come away on 150mm underside of drivers side sill. Still solid no holes or perforation. Chrome (not S/S) - 100% Paint work- stunning with a couple of small blemishes, noticeable only on close inspection (comes with 1L of original paint).
