Rover SD1 1979 Series 1

Very rare Rover SD1 Series 1 with very low mileage, approx 30K miles. One of only a small few series one cars still on the road today. I've not seen another at any shows I've been to. Log book present. NCT exempt and taxed until April 2027. Classic Insurance. ( Axa 250 euro). 4 speed manual gearbox and rear wheel drive. Twin carbs, straight six engine. This car is 47 years old and is very presentable for its age. It obviously does have a few marks and scabs , as can be expected, but overall is in good condition. Starts, drives and stops, as it should. Working manual sun-roof. Recent carburettor clean, overhaul and balance. New windscreen washer motor fitted together with new washer-jets. Recent master brake cylinder overhaul and adjustment Recent rear brake shoes fitted and handbrake adjusted 4 good tyres on Rover alloys. As with all old Rovers, electrics play up now and again and this may need investigating. Box of spare parts, Haynes manual and other bits I've collected are included in the sale. This is a drive home car and very presentable but would benefit from a rolling restoration to bring it to the next level. May swap for modern classic: Ford, Volvo , Audi . WHY?
