Spotless Vintage #Landrover Defender 90 (1995)

Incredibly reluctant sale of my Defender as I’m moving abroad. This is a really good one. Was completely rebuilt by the previous owner and hasn’t missed a beat since I bought it. I’ve used it off road, for camping trips and as my everyday car. It’s fun, a head turner and something I’m truly going to miss. >140k miles (less than 5k a year). Full service 400 miles ago. >CVRT passed in May valid till April 2027. Passed with no problems every time I’ve taken it through. The guy testing it this week said ‘she’s in great nick.’ >30 years old so Vintage Tax (€56 rather than €1050) and insurance. CVRT only required every two years. >Galvanised Chassis. The underside painted with anti corrosion paint. Rust is not an issue. >New fuel tank, alternator, and battery. >Roofrack, Ladder, Towbar, Snorkel. >Landrover Alloy Wheels with off-road tyres that are like new. >New high quality engine pipes, tubes etc. >New front prop shaft. >Momo Sports Steering Wheel. >High End Kenwood Stereo system with subwoofer, alpine tweeters etc. Sounds fantastic. >Anti theft stainless steel plate that locks the pedals. Steering lock. >Sound dampening and heat insulation throughout. Landrover official rubber matting. >Modular conversion to campervan with high quality Birch plywood and installation of Bulkhead Removal kit. Can make a bed, seats etc. in the back in seconds. Also easily removed. >Regular servicing, oil and coolant changes etc. >LED headlamps. >Will throw in loads of spare parts, specialist tools, new seat covers and foam inserts, (not that you’ll need them), cup holders etc. You could buy a newer one and spend thousands on tax over the next few years, You could buy an old one in worse condition and spend thousands on repairs. Or you could buy this one, save yourself a fortune, look after it and it will run forever.
