Late last year we bought this stunning BMW 730i from a gentleman in Scotland — a man we had dealt with seven years previously. On that occasion, when I flew over to collect a Mercedes from him, he collected me at the airport in this very car. I remember stepping out of it and saying, “When you ever sell this, call me.” True to his word, he did. And somehow, it’s even better than I remember.
