Volkswagen Golf 1988

My lovely Volkswagen Mk1 Golf Clipper is up for sale. I imported this car from the UK to Ireland back in 2018 when it was 30 years old. I had owned the car from around 2015. I sold the car to fund my daughter’s college fees and then found it up for sale again a few years later so bought it back. It’s a great well looked after car, runs really well. I have a nice history file with her even down to old UK tax discs. The body and interior is in tidy condition and manual convertible hood works as it should with no rips or tears. I fitted genuine VDO gauges to fill the void and they work as they should. The NCT is valid up until February 27 and the next NCT will be the last it will officially require being 40 years old in 28. Tax is up in June but at €56 for 12 months it doesn’t break the bank. Classic insurance is buttons. Showing 94349 miles, It really is a great usable classic, keeps up with modern traffic, the Weber Carb and Stainless Steel exhaust sounds great. Always garaged in my ownership and I know the guy from Donegal who owned her for a couple of years also had her garaged. Great car and ready for the summer and shows. Any VW fan will be made up.
