Volkswagen Polo 1.3 GT Coupe only 46k 1984

HERE IS A VERY UNIQUE AND RARE FIND BEING THE GT MODEL 1.3 VW POLO COUPE MARK 1 WHICH PROBABLY IS THE ONLY ONE IN IRELAND. It was a 1 owner from New car First registered in the UK in 1984 and came to Ireland in 2014.It was last MOT'd in the UK in 2011 with 41000 miles and this mileage is confirmed by the DVLA MOT history check and it now is showing only 46000 miles. Being the GT model it is Like a Baby Mark 1 Golf GTI with sports seats,Black roof cloth,Rev counter dash,Rear boot spoiler,wheel arch mouldingc,front spoiler, sports steel wheels and red striping.Also the GT has the more powerful 1300 cc engine and a 4 speed gearbox but it is Quite nippy and will keep up with modern traffic as i did a 30 mile drive in it yesterday and it sat between 60 and 70 MPH comfortably on a Good road. The car was wax oiled from New so it has protected the under carriage and the Bodywork and there is No Rust or Corrosion anywhere but the the majority of the paint work is Original and is showing its 41 years in places but it still remains Very Presentable and it will be the New owners decision whether to improve this or Leave the patina. The Car has just had 4 X New Tyres fitted with the wheels also refurbished. The oil and filter has just been changed along with the rocker cover gasket and the Brake fluid. The only downside I see with the car which is the same from when they were New is the Braking system is not the Best and needs to be Got used to as they have No Brake servo so stopping distances are a lot different from a Modern Car. Being 1984 the Car is Now NCT EXEMPT and is Only €56 annual Road Tax which is done until 07/2026 and with Classic Insurance for around €250 makes For Very Cheap motoring and an Ideal Little Run about which will also Turn heads and generate conversations where ever it is parked.
