Wexford pierce finger mowen bar Victor 10

Description: For sale is an exceptionally well-preserved Philip Pierce & Co. (Wexford) "Victor No. 10" horse-drawn finger-bar mower. This is the highly desirable mid-20th-century oil-bath model, built to a premium standard and kept in fantastic mechanical and structural condition. Unlike most vintage mowers found today, this machine is completely unbroken and in full working order. Key Features: Mechanically Sound: The heavy cast-iron ground wheels turn completely freely and smoothly engage the internal gears, driving the reciprocating cutting mechanism exactly as it should. The enclosed oil bath has kept the internals perfectly preserved. Original Wooden Pole: Includes the original two-horse timber draw pole/shaft in very good, solid condition—an incredibly rare find as most of these rotted away decades ago. Flawless Cast Iron: The classic cast-iron operator's seat is perfect, completely uncracked, with the original "P. Pierce & Co. Wexford" lettering beautifully sharp and legible. Extras Included: Comes complete with two spare vintage cutting blades/knives. This is a premium, highly original piece of Irish agricultural heritage. It is absolutely ideal for vintage working days, traditional horse-farming demonstrations, or as a top-tier addition to a historic machinery collection. Price: €750 O.N.O. (Or Nearest Offer)
