Rare Wedge Surfboard

Rare 2006 Wedge Surfboard – Maisch Brothers – Umzumbe – 6’6” Genuine Wedge Surfboard, hand-shaped by the Maisch brothers at their Umzumbe, South Africa workshop in 2006. 6’6” × 19 3/8” × 2 7/16”. Original hand-shaped/glassed Maisch Fins, with custom one-of-a-kind red and yellow artwork. A genuine piece of South African surfboard history rather than a mass-produced board. Wedge Surfboards was founded by Peter Maisch and the family has been shaping boards and making Maisch fins for generations. Good overall condition for its age. Original glass-on fins. Am throwing in the leash and the padded XM board bag. Note: bag zipper fly is missing. Minor defects: slight ‘dimpling’ of deck from normal use, small ding on tail and another on bottom, left rail has a small delamination, all as per photos.
