Mr. Zogs Sexwax is a specially formulated wax used to coat the deck of a surfboard and provide traction between the surfers feet and the surfboard. There are different waxes depending on water temperature. In Ireland, Cold to Cool ( 9 degrees to 20 degrees, which comes in the little purple cardboard box ) covers the conditions / is the most popular wax for most of the year anyway. The x-cold to cold wax ( yellow box ) is for water temp 14 degrees c. and below. This is an extreme soft wax. The cold to cool ( purple box ) is for water temp 9 degrees c. to 20 degrees c. This is an extra soft wax. The cool to mid-warm wax ( green box ) is for water temperature 14 degrees c to 23 degrees c. The mid-cool to warm ( orange box) is for water temp 18 degrees c to 26 degrees c. The warm to mild tropic wax ( red box ) is for water temp 21 degrees c to 29 degrees c. This is a hard wax. The "Tropic or Basecoat" wax ( blue box ) is extra hard and for water temperatures 26 degrees celcius and above, or for use as a basecoat in Irish waters. Only €4 each or by ten bars for €37.
