Engine ran well last time it was on the river about 10+ years ago. Good compression on all cylinders when last checked. The shaft and bearing carrier have been removed from the lower unit. It was removed because the reverse gear was grinding and would not engage. It needs a rebuild which I never got around to doing. Dog clutch and rebuild parts are still available online. Two spare lower units are included. One is a stripped shell i paid €250 for a few years ago! The other lower unit is complete but I was unable to pull the bearing carrier out of it without damaging the housing. It also has reverse gear issues. Controls and cables are included, with keys. It was a very powerful and reliable engine when we used it. It never let us down except for the reverse gear issues! All parts are there but for the prop, annode fin, and two bolts that hold the bearing carrier in place. I can't find them. This engine would be very handy to have as a donor for your DT65. I suppose it could also be rebuilt and recomissioned if you were determined enough! Its the base model, it does not have trim & tilt. FOR SPARES OR REPAIR!!!
