Bought a 2014 1.2 TSI golf off Jack in January, asked him about the timing belt and he told me it was a chain not to worry about changing it. Little did I know it was actually a belt. The other week the timing belt went and now I’ve to get an engine rebuild. Tried to contact Jack twice about this to get answers but he didn’t even have the decency to reply. Avoid him like the plague would be my advice to any future buyers.
