I’ve owned this Golf since 2008 and have kept it so long because it’s never given me any trouble. It’s been serviced regularly and passed its most recent NCT on the first attempt (valid through March 2026). Tax paid through December 2025. The battery was recently replaced. Everything works as it should — no warning lights or known issues. Cheap to run, cheap to tax, and ideal as a first car or a reliable daily runaround. Only selling because I’m finally upgrading to something new after 17 years – so I am not interested in swaps/trades.
