I had an exceptional experience purchasing my vehicle from John Hayes Cars. From start to finish, the process was smooth, transparent, and stress-free. Our family bought a 21 month old Volvo off Markus Hayes of John Hayes Cars just over 1 year ago. I held off on writing the review as I wanted to have the car for a year to drive and include a service such that this review would prove as grounded in evidence and authoritative as possible, especially given the cost. We happened upon the add on the web and visited the same day for a viewing. We ended up test driving it and were most impressed. Markus was friendly and knowledgeable. He put the car on hold to give us some time to think about the purchase. The way in which the money was exchanged gave us peace of mind and worked out both well and safely. We received a 1 year AA membership complimentary too. Dealing with Markus was both pleasant and expedient. At the time of purchase, I believe the car was good value, given what we saw on carzone. The car was in excellent shape, was an SUV style car, was a colour we liked, had leather seats, was a hybrid, was fast and above all, it was safe. After driving it for 1 year both within and without Ireland, I am very pleased with it's performance. It drives as well as it does now as it did then. There have been no issues to date and our first and most recent service was both reasonable in cost (thank you Koping Volvo Service Centre) and without issue. John Hayes Cars is an easy recommendation and Markus at John Hayes Cars would be our first port of call if we want to trade up or trade out down the road.
