Hi, I purchased a second hand toyota corolla 2021. I went in on Tuesday and purchased on sat. The whole process was very smooth. The car was valeted and serviced before the car was released. Josh the sales person was so pleasant and a great support with any questions. I claimed my deposit cheque back after the purchase. There was a delay with the deposit cheque . I think they deal with cheque deliveries on a monthly basis through the financial department. I got the deposit back thats all that matters. My car is perfect, very happy with the price also. Would return to this garage again in the future. Very satisfied customer. caroline connaughton.

I don't know where to start on this one.... firstly, any positive reviews this company of cowboys have, seem to be for the completely unrelated car servicing garage, Sandyford Motors.... who are a great company, but have nothing to do with this one. Furthermore, there are some decent reviews for their Mazda showroom. but this review relates to Peugeot. First off... the car we bought is actually magnificent (a 208 e) and I would highly recommend it to anyone, just buy it elsewhere. To give some perspective, for the past 40 years or so I have been one of those people who changes his car every 2 or 3 years. In that time I have driven Mazda, VW, Rover, BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, Saab and now Jaguar and 95% of the time have dealt with the main dealers. I can honestly say that in all my experience I have never come across a company with less customer focus, honesty, efficiency or professionalism. In fairness, the young lad, Josh, who we dealt with at first did a great job... my son was moving back from the Netherlands and needed a car as soon as he returned. He had identified a 208e as his preference and I only went in to this garage to see if I could fit comfortably in the driver seat...and ended up spending €19500 of his money on a 3 year old model. But that's where the positivity ceases. There were a few scratches and a sensor that needed to be addressed, and an alloy that was badly damaged, and we gave them 10 days after paying the deposit to get this sorted. But when we went to collect the car nothing at all had been done apart from a decent wash. We were told that the sensor wasn't due in for a few days so we just took the car anyway with a promise that when we brought it back for the sensor they would hold on to it and fix the scratches as promised. Four days after dropping it in for this I was told the wheel would be ready on the Saturday or the Monday and that the rest of the work had been done... I said we needed it on the Saturday as my son was arriving home that day, I got no answer so I decided to check up myself with the alloy repair company, who hadn't even moved it off the carpark, and found that none of the other work had been done. I decided to go directly to the service manager who informed me he had never heard of the car and had no arrangements for scratch repair or anything.... all credit to him, he said I should collect the car myself an drop it into him on Tuesday and he would take ownership of the problems and sort them. A week later when we went to collect it, we find that only one side of the car had been repaired. When I lost my temper over this he said he would check with the sales manager...who didn't even have the balls to come out to see me face to face and sent a message saying he had only agreed to do the passenger side and not the serious scratch on the drivers side. Needless to say this went down like a lead balloon with me and I demanded that he came out to say that to my face. The end result was they agreed to complete the job, and 10 days later it was sorted. so it took over 6 weeks to get it done to my satisfaction there is no doubt in my mind that all the blame here lies in the hands of the sales manager and general manager. the absolute lack of customer service was beyond anything I have had to deal with in the auto industry. If I could give minus stars I would.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Our experience with Sandyford Motors has been one long story of deception and incompetence. We agreed to buy a car E50008 GT on the clear condition that it would be delivered within a week. Their sales agent confidently assured us that this was possible. After we paid the down payment, they suddenly “came clean” and admitted that delivery within a week was never possible. In other words, they lied to close the sale. To make matters worse, they offered us an older model to use temporarily while we waited for the car we actually purchased. Then, weeks later, we were told it would take two months or more for delivery. After almost a month of waiting, they informed us that even the model we had ordered, with specific customizations, wasn’t available at all. Instead, they pushed us to accept whatever they could get from Peugeot. That’s not customer service, that’s bait and switch. We finally received a car months later, with fewer features than what we ordered and paid for. Then, only a few months after receiving it, the car started showing error messages. When we brought it in-still under warranty- they held onto it for an entire day before telling us they couldn’t fix it and had to “consult the main company.” Now they’re asking us to leave the car for another three business days to “allegedly” fix it. For a €53,000 purchase, this level of dishonesty and negligence is unacceptable. The entire process has been a nightmare, from false promises to lack of accountability to outright incompetence. I regret not taking them to court from the very beginning.
