Peugeot 5008 ACTIVE 1.6 HDI NEW NCT

Bought a Peugeot 508 from Finn, top honest bloke to deal with had a few issues since but all have been sorted out very fairly and to my satisfaction. Delighted to have found them!

Just bought a 132 VW Golf from Bec and Maluu. The car is immaculate inside and out. Looks brand new, hardly a spec of dust in the yoke. Drives great. Won’t be going anywhere else in the future. The day after I bought it the car made it from drogheda co Louth to cork city on a little over quarter tank. car is efficient.

I went to buttersteam motors yesterday to buy a 2013 golf R I had cash (no trade in) and was a serious buyer. The guy I met was sound and courteous. On the test drive I asked what the warranty covered to which he replied just the gear box. To make it worse he wouldn’t even knock a penny off for cash and wanted the full €18999. The car is advertised with a 3 month warranty. It took me an hour to get there in heavy traffic and then an hour back. I feel he was unrealistic in wanting full price for a car with almost no warranty and he just wasted my time. He said that he doesn’t give warranty on performance cars because recently he sold one to someone who drove the bag out of it while it was still under warranty and he had to repair it. To which I told him that guy was an idiot and most guys look after their cars and mind them anyway I’ve bought many performance cars and always been given a warranty and just think he is not been reasonable.
