I had a bumpy start to my experience due to a mistake in the original vehicle order, but I’m happy to say that Blackwater Motors handled the situation with professionalism and integrity. Once the issue was acknowledged, the team (shoutout to Mark Farson, general manager and Mark Purcell, the sales exec that handled the final handover) worked with me to find a fair resolution that worked for both sides. Communication was open and respectful, and I now have the correct car I originally ordered, which I’m thrilled with. Mistakes can happen anywhere, but what sets a business apart is how they respond. In this case, Blackwater Motors stepped up and made things right. I appreciate the effort that went into resolving the matter and ensuring a positive outcome, and am happy to say my faith and goodwill in Blackwater Motors and the Volkswagen brand was ultimately restored, and I’m now a happy and confident customer. I was very pleased overall with Blackwater Motors when my VW Tiguan had a DSG mechatronic unit failure when travelling from Wexford to West Cork. The problem was diagnosed within 24 hours, parts arrived in 6 days and fitted within 2 further days. The communication from the service department was excellent, and Douglas was especially very helpful . The car appears to be fine now.
