Description
This is an excellent and well known Westfield SEiW (i.e. widebody) that has been enjoyed by its previous owner since 2013. An incredible drivers car with documented history and invoices for much recent work. Presented on a 99 Cork Irish registration, this car has been in Ireland since 2013 and has been in the hands of just 3 owners from new Given that the car has spent zero time on on track, the bodywork as you can imagine is of a very high standard. The paint is excellent and the car has zero rust issues and no major paint defects to note. The OZ wheels are unmarked and wear new matching tyres all round. The underside of the car is excellent, also. The car comes complete with the original fire extinguisher (mounted in passenger footwell) jack and wrench, leather tonneau cover, leather roof, leather side doors and perspex side wind deflectors. On the inside the car is exactly the same. The interior is excellent and extremely functional. You know when you sit in it that this is a driver’s car. The seats look and feel excellent having and you are truly strapped in with 4 point harnesses. All buttons work as they should and the interior is snug but very comfortable once inside. Mechanically the car is as you would expect. The car drives so well. This is a real driver’s car. The engine is incredibly strong and the gearbox changes seamlessly. The engine, a 2.0 litre Ford Pinto with a Burton High lift cam, Gas-flow ported unleaded head and a recently rebuilt individual throttle bodies set up. Given the bigger fitted head, a V8 bonnet has been fitted to give greater clearance in the engine bay. The exhaust is a custom stainless steel unit that pops and bangs with all the right noises. Having just had a major service costing €4500 we have replaced timing belt, water pump, rotor, cap. Leads, a full fluid change, fuel lines, refreshed braking system and 4 new tyres this Westfield is in as good condition as could be. With only 13500 miles from new this road going race car is on the button and is eligible for multiple track day events or just for fast road use.

I recently purchased an e46, 320Ci off Simon from Deane Motors. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience from start to finish. From the first call on Tuesday to picking up the car on Friday, the process was seamless! Someone who really knows their stuff and values his customers. Would highly recommend to anyone in the market.

I just got my Ferrari back from Simon and the lads today after a serious engine out service. They got straight into the job when the took in the car and had it back in a very reasonable timeframe. The lads kept me up to date throughout with videos, photos and general updates. You wouldn't get this level of transparency from a Main Dealer. There were unforeseen issues along the way but they just got on with it and were able to order awkward parts where possible and had parts made where they were not available or too expensive to buy. Very few mechanic operations left of this type in Ireland with this wealth of knowledge and experience and they are not afraid to work on the higher end old cars. I will definitely be back to them for any future maintenence. Now all I need is a dry day to enjoy this V8 on the backroads again!!

Recently purchased my M4 from Simon and he was a pleasure to deal with from day one. After delivery there were some minor issues with the car, which were unknown to Simon and his Team, but he took the car back and fixed everything. He even provided a loan car to keep me on the road for a few days. As above, a pleasure to deal with and I can’t wait to do business with them again soon. Also a quick shout out to Simon Walsh who was so helpful throughout.
