Just bought a car from them during the week, Martin was very friendly and easy to deal with and we are very happy with the car! UK registered car being brought in to the ROI. We would usually avoid this as it's a lot of extra work but the VRT and NCT were all taken care of by them, no hassle for us. Could not fault the service. Dealer claimed he “doesn’t work Saturdays,” yet rang us on a Saturday morning to say there was urgent interest in the car and pushed hard for a deposit. We felt pressured and, needing transport urgently after our family car was written off - we rushed into it.

Two days after purchase, the car began leaking water. When contacted, the seller brushed it off with a “Back in the office Monday. We’ll chat then.” Eventually, we arranged to have the issue assessed by a trusted local mechanic - in coordination with him - but the problem persisted. Instead of taking accountability, the seller shifted blame onto the mechanic and became defensive, condescending, and arrogant. Knew it all, but knew nothing.

When we reported the issue was ongoing, he completely distanced himself and told us, “That’s not my car anymore, the finance company owns it.” He also reminded us that the limited warranty only covered engine and gearbox. Any responsibility for the faults was flatly denied.

The seller told us to “deal with the finance company ourselves” absolutely no support or professionalism, just dismissal. In the end, we had to return the car through the finance company. Despite only owning it for two weeks and driving just 250 miles (70 of which were just getting it home), we were £511 out of pocket. By the time it was recovered, the flywheel was beginning to rattle.

The car was soaking wet at the viewing, so heavy scratching wasn’t visible until we picked it up. Yes, we should have been more cautious, but the damage was obvious once dry. We even paid for full paint correction ourselves and made a few inexpensive cosmetic improvements (like black Audi badges and a rear wiper delete) with genuine intent to keep the car.

When it was returned, the dealer ignored all mechanical concerns and focused solely on the cosmetic changes - completely missing the point. No accountability. No integrity.

To top it off, he’s now re-advertising the same car with extras it doesn’t even have. Including heated seats. Completely dishonest.

This whole experience has been a nightmare. The seller’s attitude was arrogant throughout, and the process was riddled with inconsistencies and blatant unprofessionalism.

Screwed over a young family in need. Absolutely disgraceful. Buyer beware.
