I had a really good experience w Blackwater Motors Forge hill. Needed a service and review done of a delicate, old but valued car. The whole process was exactly what was needed. From reception by Ann to the technical parts all were exceptional. Ismael understood exactly what was needed and handled the repairs and service very competently . Advising in non technical language what my best options were and the most practical course to take. We agreed on a two stage program. The workshop completed everything as scheduled and planned. At the end I got a detailed, itemized invoice. A rare level of transparency and v reassuring

Very happy with my experience from first test drive to collecting my new purchase, sales man Tiernan was very professional even when I had a slight issue with the car and he made sure it was rectified asap. Would highly recommend Blackwater Motors for your next purchase.

Went in for an oil service just over two weeks ago. Met with Ismael to collect the car and he went through the recommendations which included a number of things I had done in January. He then agreed these repairs did not need to be done and expressed that he had no previous car history which I accepted but in my mind the doubts began to build as it wouldn’t take a skilled mechanic to see these works had been done. Nonetheless, I was still willing to give the garage a go, so we arranged dates for other route maintenance and general vehicle health. I collected my car and noticed a new warning light but drove onto the road outside the garage main entrance. Thankfully due to traffic, I could check what the fault light was and while in traffic outside the garage I rang them. A staff member asked if I could come back and I said yes as I was just outside. When I returned, Ishmael told me the mechanic said the fault was showing because they washed the car. I asked him where did they wash it and he stated the entire outside, I showed him the car so he could see the car is exactly as I brought it to them before the service (with the exception of the new fault lights). He agreed the car was had indeed not been cleaned outside so we went into speak with the mechanic again before informing me that I must drive the car back home then once the engine has been off during the night the fault lights should go. I agreed to try this only to send an email the following day with a photo to show the fault remains. He emailed me back to say I need to bring the car back but there may be a potential charge. To this day the fault remains but I have decided to look elsewhere for someone who is a professional.
