Recently bought a quad and the customer service was excellent, answered any questions I had regarding buying helmets and on delivery different sizes was brought down to try on. Would recommend JMK quads.

Bought a brand new quad for my son for Christmas- on Christmas morning it literally went for 10minutes and then wouldn’t start. Contacted JMK Quads Banbridge and they said it must have been something I done (I literally hadn’t touched it from we picked it up). Took it back to get fixed- when we collected it again it went for about 10mins and stopped working again. Rang and spoke to owner who was the most ignorant man I have ever spoke to- everything was my fault. To cut long story short- I rang consumer helpline & trading standards (this hadn’t been the first time this company had been reported) and I contacted my bank to get the transaction (80% of what I paid) reversed as advised by trading standards as owner refused me a refund after selling me this faulty quad! Left quad back and was told I would get the remaining 20% in a cheque when cheque arrived it was not for the full amount that I had paid. Was a nightmare from start to finish with this company- never again will I buy from them. Had a very disappointed child over this!!

I happened upon the lovely owner of this establishment after my cars undertray came off and left me stranded outside his house. I asked someone outside about getting a couple of cable ties and was directed to the house.

After knocking the door three times using the knocker I was greeted by the owner who told me I had 'thumped on the door' and had awakened the babies. Obviously I was unanaware of said babies and did not mean to do this (and profusely apologised) but that was deemed irrelevant.

I was then told there was 'no chance' I was getting a cable tie. Long story short, if the man gets angry at a door knock and is willing to begrudge a stranger in need a simple cable tie, then I would highly advise people to avoid giving the man any money. If he doesn't know anything about common decency then he certainly doesn't know anything about customer service.
