Bechstein B (1895) 6'7" (Restored/Rebuilt)

A beautiful example of a restored and rebuilt Carl Bechstein high quality grand piano measuring 6'8" and originally built in 1895. We have completely stripped the case and it's now French Polished by hand which took over three months to complete. The piano now looks as it did coming out of the Bechstein factory, including restoration of the ivory keys. The piano was previously rebuilt including new strings, pins, restored soundboard and bridges, gilded frame, new felts etc. The action is responsive and dynamic. Rich and rounded mellow tone with superb depth of tone throughout, strong Tenor and clear potent Bass register. A stunning Mahogany piano by a world famous maker, professionally appraised at €20,000, so great value, investment, and true family heirloom. A piano that will hold its value and play for centuries. Rare and beautiful. www.obriainpianogallery.com
