Joe and the crew promptly repaired the hub and brake assembly on my new 22 ft trailer. This trailer’ axle was a hot mess and dangerous when I brought it in due to defective condition when I bought it new less than a month before. Searching nationwide, they found the right parts and double checked the opposite side to ensure that we would be safe down the road. Very fair labor costs and parts pricing. They made a yucky situation feel less so with a little humor which I appreciated. I will offer my future business to this shop.

This is a old school parts store. They have always been helpful and will do whatever they can to make sure you get your job done.

Brad took the time to see if he had an overflow tank cap for my International. They had it! And he was a super nice guy!  Good to know if we are through that area again and need parts we can count on them.

Super friendly and helpful place to buy auto parts! I'll be back.

Good Samaritans, that's the kind of service I experienced from the workers at M50 TRUCKS. I needed a tire replacement because something  got in my tire from the road and they drove from Dundee to their store in Toledo, Ohio to get a tire for my truck.
They did not want is to wait for tomorrow to get back on the road so they drove a total of 46 min. to get us back on the road.  They made sure we were comfortable and assured us that they had everything under control.
THE REPLACEMENT TIRE WAS OF GOOD QUALITY AND FAIRLY PRICED.

I have been waiting a few months now for a call from the "VW Brand Director" Niall, for some reason the Sales team at Joe Duffy VW can't handle my query around why no VW Service History is available in spite of being told it would be included. Exceptionally poor customer service, would absolutely not recommend them in any way shape or form. Would give them zero stars if Google allowed me.

Nice people, but poor customer service, no brake discs or wiper blades available on day of service.. standard parts. Had to re book.  Re hire car. Poor form. Had to pay heafty for the free car health check.
Very disappointing Joe Duffy

Myself and friend went into Volkswagen Charlestown, to test drive the R- Line Tiguan before purchasing. I was torn between buying the R-Line and the Tiguan Elegance. We asked Kyle could we look at the R-Line before we committed to the Elegance.  He begrudgingly opened the door and said "ill just leave you to it" rolled his eyes 'tutted' and then continued to say 'its the same as the Elegance, only difference is the seats'. He said in a snotty manner. Kyle had no manners and obviously wouldn't be a great sales man if that is how he speaks to people regularly.

I went to Navan after being there, I did buy the R- Line Tiguan and the lads there couldn't do enough for us.

I left my car into Joe Duffy VW charlestown to be fixed (engine light, glow plug light) I was assured it would be fixed that day if I got it in early, so I brought it at 8am, 6.5 hours later I got a call (2:30pm) that they diagnosed the car do I want them to go ahead with the repair? I said yes and again I asked would it be fixed by the end of the day, as I needed it to drop my 1 year old son home, which he replied ‘ah yeah’ if not they would call me, 5:30pm came still no call, keep in mind they close at 6pm, so I rang them and spoke with a female representative.

I explained the situation and asked is my car finished as it was previously stated it would be, she went and checked with the technician, she advised me it won’t be finished that it would be 10am the next morning, I asked for a replacement car which she replied were all out with customers, this left me with no car and no way of getting my 1 year old son back home.

She put me back on hold for a few short minutes, then told me my car would in fact be ready for 6:10pm, I went up collected my car, she apologised and I paid the €370, as I was leaving she explained the dashboard lights would go away once I drove it for a bit, so I left and brought it onto the M50 for 1 hour, to which the lights failed to switch off.

I rang back the next morning and explained it to a male representative to which he said best he could do is get me in a week later? After paying for it to be fixed, which it wasn’t fixed I drove up to the shop to speak to someone hire up to resolve the situation.

I spoke with the Manager and she said ‘she explained my car was PARTIALLY fixed when i collected it’. What she actually said was the Particle filter light would go away once you drive it. The particle filter light wasn’t on, the engine light was on and glow plug light were.
I nor would anyone in their right mind would leave with a PARTIALLY fixed car but more importantly why are they letting partially fixed cars out of their garage? I told her that was unacceptable to charge someone for a “PARTIALLY FIXED”.

She then started to act as if I was being irrational, when all I wanted was what I paid for, a fixed car!
Is the car safe to drive? Is it safe to have my 1 year old son in the car? Am I doing more damage to the car if I continue to drive it? None of these where answered.

Very poor service from start to finish, specially with the manager and her resolve of the situation which was to send me away with a PARTIALLY FIXED CAR, to leave me drive around in it with my 1 year old son and potentially cause further damage to the car!!

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, AVOID!!

"I had a truly horrific experience at Joe Duffy Volkswagen in North Dublin. I purchased a brand new VW Polo DSG. When it had only 5k kms the clutch failed. As per my rights under Irish consumer law, the warranty covered the replacement of the clutch. However, upon returning the car, I was shocked to find that the bolts were left loose in the driveshaft, which caused further damage and tore off the side of the gearbox.

Given the extensive damage to the car, I requested a trade-in for a new car as I was worried it would cause future problems. However, Joe Duffy Volkswagen refused to comply with my request and instead repaired the car. Upon returning the car, it was dirty and had 0 kms range left in the tank, which I found unacceptable.

25k kms later, the gearbox failed again, and I was horrified to find that Joe Duffy Volkswagen refused to cover any of the cost to repair, even though the car was out of warranty. This was in violation of my rights under Irish consumer law, which requires that products must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and last a reasonable length of time.

The staff at Joe Duffy Volkswagen was extremely rude and unhelpful throughout the entire process, which only added to my frustration. I eventually traded the car in for a Hyundai and have never looked back. I would highly advise anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from Joe Duffy Volkswagen to think twice, as their disregard for customer satisfaction and blatant disregard for Irish consumer law is unacceptable
