Honda CB400 Super Four 1993

I'm selling my mostly original, immortal Super Four. The bike is 32 years old, but it looks 20 years old. Once all over Ireland, these days they're rare and far between. Mechanically it's almost the same as it was out of the factory 3 decades ago. Not impossible, just a Honda. Took it to get valves adjusted twice, didn't need it either time. Lots of work other work done though (see below). It's perfect for smaller or beginner riders as it's a very low bike, with low centre of mass, willing but not scary in the low revs. Go above 8k and it turns into a pocket rocket, with lean angles to rival sports bikes. A perfect candidate for visual restoration, just please don't make it a cafe racer... I'm joking, you do what you want with it. Original colour - Pearl Shining Yellow (Y-124P). Original exhaust and centre stand. In the 5 years I've owned it I did the following: - new chain and sprockets (DID) (2020) - new (OEM) thermostat (2020) - new steering bearing set (2020) - new Michelin Road 4 tyres (2021) (15k on them) - new (OEM) front brake light switch - new (OEM) radiator fan (2022) - new (OEM) radiator thermocouple (2022) - new Yuasa battery (2023) - front calipers rebuilt with OEM parts and sintered pads (2024) - carbs rebuilt with OEM parts (2024) - Hagon rear shocks (2024) - Optimate USB charger via relay to switch on bars (2023) - OEM mirrors, rear signals (fronts are replicas), OEM grips - serviced yearly - if not ridden often, started often What's wrong: - the temp gauge is stuck halfway. Couldn't figure out why, might be sender is borked. Somewhat irrelevant since I got the cooling sorted. - scratches - forks are pitted (not where it matters) - handlebars are pitted (I'll provide a spare) - seat has a couple of tears on the edges, but I didn't want to reupholster it as it's original and serviceable Test rides are welcome, cash in hand. I got another bike so I don't have enough time for both. Not in a big rush to sell, though. €2000 ONO. Cash preferred.
