1977 Series 1 Mk1 Golf - Original Irish

I have a 1977 Series 1 Mk1 Golf that I'm putting up for sale. Its a project car as seen in the photos. This is a very rare car with it being a small tail light model and has the added bonus of being an original Irish car, first registered in Dublin on the 22nd of June 1977. The registration number is 317 TZA. The shell is in remarkable condition for a car that is over 48 years old and all panels are original from what I can make out. You could call it a time warp compared to how rusted some of these Mk1's become. It has all the features of an early shell - no front and rear towing eyes, small rear lights, no rear wiper, small bumpers - no 'side' bumper mounts, brake lines run inside the car, early dash, rubber floor covering instead of carpet, chassis number stamped on shock tower, early door hinges, etc. I've owned the car for the last 13 years and I'm the 8th owner on the book, the brown book is the original copy. Its rare that the car sees daylight as it spends 99.99% of its time in dry storage, but its now time to pass it onto a new owner who will hopefully get this piece of history back on the road.
