I had brilliant experience buying a car off Lucan auto sales, it’s a Kia ceed I bought recently, very clean car, the manager was very friendly and polite, I did not believe everything he said in the first place, so I got my mechanic to check the car, turned out everything the manager told me was true, they gave me 3 months warranty and delivered the car to my place and gave me a number to contact, I rang them today regarding ownership transfer, I was happy to know it was already processed.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I was sold a 131 Peugeot car that had been written off.
The garage didn't advertise it was a write off, didn't have the paperwork to say so, nor were they able to tell me what damage was done and if it was fixed. thankfully I got my money back after days of running around and multiple calls and emails as well as getting gardai involved.

Terrible customer service, cars and incredibly dishonest.

I bought a car off Lucan Auto Sales during the height of the pandemic. There was a strict lockdown in place at the time so I wasn’t able to see the car before purchasing. However, I desperately needed one to commute to work. They assured me that there were no issues whatsoever and it was recently fully serviced.

Firstly, I was unable to collect given the restrictions. They arranged for it to be dropped to me by truck, but the car was driven to me on 4 flat tires (1 actually punctured) which ended up damaging the wheels, callipers and suspension. I rang them immediately to tell them about the issue, which they wouldn’t fix or honour the sale agreement. They blocked my number and several other numbers I tried to contact them on.

I had to replace the following in the first 2 months of having the car:
2 rear callipers, 2 break discs and pads, full oil and air filter change, electrics fixed, 2 tyres, 1 wheel and some of the lights. The engine began cutting in and out after a couple of weeks and a few months later it gave in and the car was scrapped.

Cowboys, incredibly rude and dishonest, terrible quality of cars and customer service. This is evidently not a reputable business. I would have brought it to small claims court but it would have ended up costing too much time and money.

I urge anyone thinking about purchasing a car here to save themselves the hassle and buy elsewhere.

this garage is scam,  they buy written off or broken cars & they patch it up to sell,  after they took your money & u need help,  they'll bring u around the block.
