Absolute conman! Stay well clear of this man and his company.  Very friendly and helpful until there are problems.  Once money is paid and goods are handed over the after service is terrible and you are basically on your own.  Endless phonecalls going nowhere, being made feel like you're a pest for only wanting things to be done the right way and the way any business should manage things.

I bought a van for 19k and got six months warranty with it.  Had serious engine trouble and handed in the van many times to be fixed only for each time to come back with the same problem.  This went on for easily two whole months.  Then eventually he took it in a final time and agreed to fix it once and for all with a brand new engine.  He then rang me few days later to say the engine was fitted and its good to go.  Upon getting there he then backtracked and told me that it wasn't actually a new engine but it was second hand but only a year or two old, I said OK that's not what we agreed on but it was done, fitted and van was driving better then the day I got it so I was just happy that it was sorted, finally!

I then asked him for paperwork for the new engine so that I know what year it was from and if I ever wanted to sell it surely it would add some sort of value to it.  Surprise surprise couldn't get the paperwork off him, everytime I rang he was just gone on his lunch or not in.  This also went on for a couple more months..

Only a year later here I am again back to square one with a van I paid alot of money for and will be paying for another few years yet, with a blown engine once again.  This can cost anything from 2.5k -5k and is on me this time all because he refused to do the right thing time and time again.  And i am now kicking myself for leaving him get away with it.

So for anyone thinking of buying something, make sure you take this post into consideration and think again.

If you are buying in a garage to get warranty or after sales service alan galiberts is not the place to buy a car! I went to look at a car there , agreed on a price and was fully assured the car would be 100% when I went to collect it!  When doing the test drive I was told the car came with 2 keys and a 3 month warranty! On the day I collected the car and had just made payment in full I was told they could not find the second key but would send it on when it turned up! I rang and text 3 times in the following 3 weeks but each time was made feel like I was being a nuisance by their tone and no surprise I never got my key! More annoyingly when I picked up the car and drove it, I only realised when I got home the front daytime led running fog lamp was not working, it was not a bulb but the whole lamp was broken, I rang next morning and less than 24 hours of picking the car up and told  they would not cover it under warranty!! Rude and disappointing attitude from a company towards an after sales service
