I would highly recommend Alan and Charton Motor Company to anyone looking for a reliable car and great customer service. Thank you again!

I had an excellent experience with Charlton Motors. Alan was professional, friendly, and made the whole car-buying process easy and stress-free. He took the time to answer all my questions and gave honest advice, which made me feel confident in my purchase.

What impressed me most was the after-sales service. When I had a small issue with the car, I contacted Alan and he arranged for it to be fixed immediately under the warranty. There was no hassle at all—he simply took care of everything, which gave me great peace of mind.

It’s rare to find a dealership that genuinely looks after its customers even after the sale. Alan and the team at Charlton Motors provide exceptional customer service, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a quality car and outstanding support. Thank you again, Alan!

want to share my experience so that anyone considering buying a car from here can make an informed decision.

On the day I bought the car, a warning light was already on. I brought the car back and spoke to Alan himself. He took the car and told me that everything had been done. However, when I got the car back, it was worse than when I had given it to him, and I was told work had been carried out when, in my experience, the issue had not been fixed.

I drove the car for around five days. While I had my 2-year-old niece in the back, the car started smoking. I got out immediately and took my niece out of the car. The car continued smoking for around an hour.

I brought the car back again, but unfortunately the problem was still there when I got it back.

Then the clutch started slipping. I brought the car back to Alan and the car was there for around a week. When I rang to ask about it, I was told that nothing was wrong with the clutch. I wasn’t happy with this, so my dad contacted him and said to just provide a clutch and that we would get it fitted ourselves.

A clutch was eventually provided, but it was the cheapest option, and the car was kept for another week without the work being done.

This has been an extremely frustrating experience from the day I bought the car. I expected the car to be safe and fit for purpose, especially considering I had a young child travelling in it.

I’m sharing this simply to make people aware of my experience before they decide to buy a car from here. Please do your own checks and make sure you are completely satisfied with the car before purchasing.
I am still having the issue with the fuel line since I have bought it and Alan himself is telling me it is normal which is isn’t.
