Cogans is a 3rd generation family-run Toyota Dealership, established by Robert A. Cogan in 1936. That same year Toyota produced its first passenger car, the Toyota AA. Our family is very proud of our association with Toyota Ireland since their introduction in 1973. The high quality of Toyota cars combined with our years of experience, made for a natural and lasting partnership. This business was built on our customers needs and expectations, which have evolved over a long time and we constantly strive to provide them with the highest standard of service, both in sales and after-sales. We aim to ensure that we meet and exceed these expectations at every moment of contact with our professional staff, who have been trained to the highest standard by Toyota Ireland. As a result, our Toyota Dealership has grown to a large base of loyal customers, who keep coming back time and again, some of which are 3rd generation. Call to us or browse our website and join the generations who are very happy to be Cogans customers.

Bought my second car from Cogans! The first was after they gave me a courtesy car (which I then purchased) post the douglas car park fire a few years ago. The second (today) was a beautiful Rav 4 with low mileage and in mint condition. I can't praise enough the customer service I received from Jill in particular. She made the whole process so easy. Delighted with my new purchase- thanks team Cogans!

Fantastic service from Cogans. I last minute cancelled my initial service appointment and they were very understanding. I got a full video of my cars service/condition
status and parts that required replacement showing me the parts that were worn. I got a lovely brand new courtesy car. The staff were great and the cost was reasonable. I cannot recommend enough.

I would highly recommend Cogans for anyone wanting to buy new or used cars! Exceptional team and the service is top quality! The first time I went in, I met Grace and she was so helpful in giving me details about two car options I was confused with and made great recommendations. I was not ready to buy then, and she didn’t push for a sale, rather asked me to think about it! I came back three weeks later when I was ready, did a test drive, and she was so helpful in sharing the same details of the car again, helped me with understanding the whole process as buying a first time car could be daunting. Jill from the finance team also helped a lot in taking the time to answer my questions, help me understand the whole process, and they just made the whole experience so smooth and I felt very comfortable asking even the silly questions! Grace even kindly offered to send her a message if I feel stuck in any feature of the car after the purchase, which is rare for sales reps to do! Thank you so much Grace, Jill and the entire team at Cogans for the experience and for your patience! I purchased a CHR and I’m extremely delighted with the full experience! 😊

We had an amazing experience at Toyota Cogans. From the moment we arrived from Dublin, everything felt incredibly warm and welcoming — almost like home.

A special thank you to Rob and Jill, who were both absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process. Rob sold us the car and walked us through all the features in such a clear, patient, and helpful way, making sure we understood everything without ever feeling rushed. Jill took care of all the finance side and made the whole process smooth and stress-free.

They were both so friendly and genuinely kind, and they even loved meeting our dog, Ollie. Rob went above and beyond by giving her water and lots of attention, which made the experience feel even more personal and special.

Overall, a top-class experience from start to finish. We couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Very disappointing experience with Cogans Toyota in Cork

I recently visited Cogans Toyota in Cork and unfortunately came away very disappointed.

The attitude of the sales lady I dealt with was extremely poor and made the experience uncomfortable from the outset. I would have expected a much more professional and respectful approach from a Toyota dealership.

What concerned me even more was being offered a test-drive car that appeared to have very little/no visible tread on the front tyres. This raised serious concerns for me about the vehicle’s roadworthiness and,
most importantly, customer safety. I would expect a dealership to ensure that any vehicle being offered for a test drive is properly checked and safe before putting customers behind the wheel.

Overall, this experience has seriously affected my confidence in the dealership. I hope management will look into both the customer service and the condition of vehicles being provided for test drives, because safety should never be compromised.
