Can't recommend Alan enough, had my jeep at 2 different garages who weren't able to find what the issue was. Dropped it to Alan and the next evening he rang me to say he had identified the problem and I could collect the jeep the following evening. Service and work really was second to none. Highly recommend him for any electric/wiring issues you have. Thanks again Alan, will 100% be back.

Expensive, but they get the job done.
They did for me a battery change on a non-starter car (battery was all the way dead and I could not jump-start it)
And wiper motors change, I got charged double than any other but they did it really fast (all others refused the work because they could not find replacements, so he saved me from buying rusty used motors from abroad)

I called Hogan’s to enquire about gas for my air con and was met with a surprisingly rude attitude. When I mentioned it was probably the older type (as I’d paid €80 previously), I was sharply told, “Well you won’t be getting it at that price here.” Completely unnecessary tone and attitude. First and last time dealing with this business.

Absolutely the worst place in Athlone! Do not go there. They charged over €500 for a basic service—I've never experienced anything like this. Even when you point out their mistakes, they refuse to accept responsibility. Avoid this place at all costs! I could have taken my car to a main dealer and been charged less.

Poor service. Like others, I had a bad experience with Alan. My advice is to avoid this business. I drove my car in and drove it out having had the alternator replaced. When I questioned it taking 11 hours labour to do this as well as replace the V-belt tensioner he said “Either you pay it or I keep your key. Simple as that.”
