Established in 2007 John Holohan Cars is located on the borders of counties, Kildare, Laois and Offaly in the town of Portarlington. We are only a 45 minute drive from Dublin City.

We always try to offer a personal touch, which we feel has been lost in recent times and focus on consultation rather than “hard sales”.

All our retail stock is sold serviced, with warranty and also benefit from a history cert for peace of mind. If there is a vehicle of interest on our website we would be delighted to hear from you, whether it’s to organise a test drive or simply to ask us a question.

Our stocklist is updated daily so please check back regularly for updates.

I would definitely recommend buying a car from John. I had a great experience dealing with him while buying my car. He made the process very easy and was helpful all the way through.

Couldn't recommend John enough! From start to finish buying my first car he was so kind and helpful, couldn't be anymore happier😍🚗

I bought my first car from John in 2024. He made the whole experience so easy and enjoyable. I loved the car for the two years I had it and I never had any problems with it. I recently went back to John to trade up. He makes the whole process of car hunting seamless and relaxed. I would recommend John Holohan Cars to anyone.
