Since 1936, Kellihers have bought, sold and repaired cars, trucks, tractors and much more besides. In 1975 we became Toyota people and have remained dedicated to Toyota ever since.
 
In 1982 we moved to a perimeter site in the town and in 2000 we completed a total re-development, 3.5 acres to be exact, transforming the site into one of the most modern showroom, workshops, and car display facilities in the county, country and beyond. The workshop which incorporates a government appointed commercial vehicle testing section, is both equipped with the most up to date equipment and more importantly is staffed and managed by technicians of the highest calibre, most of whom have won national technical awards during their long careers with kellihers.
 
To complete the picture we have our used cars and boy do we sell some amount of top quality used cars. In many motoring establishments used cars are secondary - not at Kellihers. They sell good nice cars but if your looking for a part for a jap import - then forget it. They once told me they would not entertain parts for imports. So I drove to the next country to Macroom motors who had no problem getting me my jap import part. What a difference and much nicer to deal with.

You,d want to be a rich man to walk in the doors of this place
And even at that and I could get the same motor........
Let,s say a Toyota Hilux for near half the price up north or even better in England
And don't give the buff of the price of vrt or any of that
It would still be worth it with the price,s these boys have on the stuff Parked outside

I brought my car in for a tune-up prior to the NCT, telling them that there was an issue with the brakes. They did all the regular stuff (changing oil etc) for 300 euro and found no problem with the brakes. They were missing a minor part (side light lens) so I had to come back another day to get that changed.

The car failed the NCT due to the break lines being rusted. I rang Kellihers again and explained the problem, what it failed on and when the re-test was due and they gave me another appointment 3 weeks hence (2 days before the cut-off for NCT).

They have just phoned me the day before this appointment saying that "oh, it would only be an assessment and that they wouldn't actually be able to fix the problem until next week" (after the NCT re-test date). He asked what the issue was again and when the retest date was.

So, we will miss the retest and we have had to move around 3 days of work for maintenance which did not resolve the issue. I am just amazed at the lack of professionalism and can only imagine that they are still in business because they are the only Toyota dealership in town.

I will certainly not be using them again and I will discourage any friends and family from same.
