Worst experience I've had buying a car and never been treated this poorly. I've waited a few months to write this as I was getting legal advice, and in addition, I also didn't want this to be an emotion-filled review, but rather facts. I was recommended by a friend of Noel, and once I expressed my interest in the Ford Focus (2015), he was polite and we made an appointment for me to test drive the car. After trying the car out, I expressed I wanted to buy it, and after 14 days of applying for loans, I was able to finalize the purchase. However, that's when the problems started. Once I left the dealership, the engine light came on (19th of December 2024), and this was after Noel expressed that the car had no issues. Overnight I texted the dealer's number explaining about the light, and if we could arrange a time for me to come in for them to have a look, although the msg only arrived in the morning, instead of showing concern or trying to assure me he would try and help fix the car, the first thing Noel says is, "Let's keep the messages during business hours." At first, I didn't give much thought to his tone and what Noel had said, but soon I would find out what this meant. He then said it shouldn't be anything, but if I wanted to, he would book me a time later in the day at the shop. I went in and the mechanic said there wasn't anything wrong. He reset the light and told me to go on my way. Two hours later, as I was driving back to work, the light came back on. At this point I wondered what was going on, I'm not a mechanic, but I've been driving for 19 years, and I know what a car with issues sounds like, and the motor wasn't sounding good anymore, not to mention the car would lose power every now and then. Considering what Noel had said, I waited until the next morning to text/call again, and I expressed how worried and unsatisfied I was, as I had paid a good amount for the car, and in less than 3 days it already felt like the car was breaking down. As before, and now with more confidence, Noel started to play my concerns down, saying things like, "You have to calm down", "this car has no issues", "you have to be more patient", you can be sending messages and saying things like that", "I did not like what you said," like we were friends, and me expressing my frustration was hurting his feelings, rather than me being a customer and him being a business. Anyway, long story short, kept telling him there was something wrong with the car, I went back to the shop one more time, and even though we had a tough conversation about how I didn't want to spend Christmas without a car, that's exactly what happened. On the 24th of December, as I was doing the last bits of Christmas shopping the car broke down and just wouldn't move. The motor started to give out, and the clutch went all the way in. I had to pay for a tow truck and rent a car, and I also had to wait until the 4th of January to be able to talk to Noel again, as he didn't answer during that time. Finally the "I told you so", came along, and did he recognize any fault or anything, NONE! He offered the money I paid for the car, but he did not agree to pay me back for the tow truck, petrol in the car that I had put in (and still in), or the car that I had to rent, as I couldn't stay without a car for that long. I can't speak for everyone, but not only was I mistreated, I was disrespected. My recommendation is if you can pay a bit more, go to a bigger dealership, as they will take full responsibility if something happens during the warranty. I will never buy from them again, and as a customer, I advise you to do the same. PS... I won't mention who, but I did a bit of research and spoke to other customers who had bought from ND Motors, and they were as unhappy, they just didn't have the patience to keep coming back to him, so they decided to just keep the car and pay for the repairs themselves.
