Very nice show room, and extremely professional and knowledgeable staff gave great advice on my purchase

My sister got her car, very professional and approable sales man. Car ready when we arrived to collect, we'll wortha visit. 👌👏👏

Ordered a mudflap for a Mondeo over the phone from this crowd. Only the guy on phone didn't seem to know difference between a mudflap and an entire wheel arch. Said part was collected by my sister for me - and I upon seeing the obviously wrong part tried to return it. They took it back but said they would only give me money if the subsequently sold the wheel arch. The abrasive nature of their customer service in legendary in East Cork

Called to enquire a repair of my one year old Ford Explorer RWD, to replace modules inside the HV battery (as it was involved in a small crash which deployed airbags and blew HV fuses). They refused, stating verbatim: "we have to look after our own customers". Wow, Ford garages are usually way more accomodating, I'd look to deal with other ones instead...

I had an extremely disappointing experience with the customer service at this dealership. Initially, we checking in the car, I was met with questions, eye rolls and told to sit and wait. We witnessed how poorly a woman in front of us was treated—her keys were handed back with no explanation other than “we need to keep the car.” When she asked for more details, the staff member was incredibly dismissive, barely responding as he walked away. I was genuinely shocked by how unprofessional it was.

When it came to our turn, we were immediately asked for payment without any clarification on what the issue was or whether the car had been fixed. When we inquired, the staff member sarcastically stated, “Your first mistake was bringing it to a garage.” This is the same garage that, over the phone, diagnosed a possible timing belt issue without even inspecting the vehicle.

I asked twice if he could assist us or recommend a specialist for the electrical problem, and after much reluctance, we were finally given a vague suggestion. Overall, the experience was incredibly frustrating. The customer service was not only unhelpful but also rude and dismissive. Sadly, our second mistake was trusting this Ford dealership with our car.

It's not hard to be nice.

Recently purchased my new and first all electric car with Bandon Motors.
Richard made the whole process seemless. Straightforward trade in and pricing without having to wait making my decision easy. Also supporting me in moving into the electric car space.

Recently purchased my new car with Bandon Motors- effortlessly.
Richard made the whole process so clear and easy for me. Not only the buying process, but also in supporting me to transition into the new -to me- electric world.

We had an amazing experience when purchasing our brand new Ford Puma! From all the dealerships, Bandon motors went the extra mile, assisted with financing and made the process as a whole a pleasure! Our sales person, Richard is highly recommend

Faults with my Galaxy Transmission and fuel system were not identified by their diagnostics. I spent over eur1500 in two services with no positive result.

I have visited Cavanaghs twice recently. I met a lovely guy called Jason. He was so helpful, courteous, it was a pleasure to deal with him. If every business had staff like Jason. This world would be a better place. Thanks Jason.

Very welcoming and friendly staff, excellent service for good price

Have been there more than a couple of times for my focus , they were extremely helpful. All the staff are very friendly.

Fine garage lovely showroom curtious staff. But I was very disappointed with the trade in allowance I was being allowed on a 2019 fiesta they just didn't want my car. It would have been nice to be told they were overstocked with fiestas and not interested rather than giving such a poor trade in allowance.

It is with genuine regret that I write this negative review, as I previously had positive experiences with this company. Unfortunately, this time was different. I had two cars serviced, and both had to be returned. While mistakes can happen, the real issue was the lack of engagement after I reported the problem. Despite my efforts, I received no meaningful follow-up, and ultimately, I will have to take the car elsewhere to resolve the issue—at considerable expense. Sadly, all future business dealings with this company will cease. I am giving 1 star as a sign of respect for the competence they once demonstrated previously.

Cavanaghs Of Fermoy

Cavanaghs of Charleville has a long and proud tradition in the motoring business in Munster. Set up in 1967 by Tom Cavanagh along with dealerships in Fermoy and Cork, the Charleville branch was taken over by current Dealer Principal, Martin Condon, in 1987. Martin and his team built up the business steadily adding the Hyundai franchise to the existing Ford business towards the end of the nineties. The business now comprises two showrooms, a 14-bay service department, state of the art bodyshop and over 2 acres of used cars on display. Cavanaghs of Charleville is now recognised as one of the best-run dealerships in the country as evidenced by its award in November 2010 from the Society of the Irish Motor Industry: SIMI Franchise Dealer of the year 2010-11. The Ford Dealership's commitment to customer service has resulted in the company being awarded the prestigious Ford Chairman's Award for Excellence in Customer Care no fewer than 7 years in a row - a feat no other Ford Dealer can claim.
