J.J. Reid Motors started in 1962, as a filling station in Stranorlar, Co. Donegal. Joining the Volkswagen group as its Service Dealer in 1963, the company was then appointed Main Dealer for North Donegal in 1964. We are also an Audi Approved Service Dealer.

We are currently celebrating 50 years in business with Volkswagen!

J.J. Reid Motors moved to Railway Road, Letterkenny in 1974, from where it has continued to deliver an excellent service in Audi and Volkswagen vehicles for the past 42 years.

In 2001, J.J. Reid Motors relocated to our state of the art Showroom and Service Area at Canal Road, Letterkenny, representing a major investment in the provision of a high quality service as we continue to remain at the forefront of the motor industry. This two million investment reflects our confidence in the future of the Volkswagen/Audi group

I recently bought a new car VW T-roc and the sales Executive was Thomas Holmes. Thomas could not have been more helpful. Everything went smoothly and according to plan. While I am in Mayo, there was no issue with getting the car delivered to the Ballina branch in an incredibly short turn around time - less than one working day. I am delighted with my new car, but more importantly I am extremely happy with the service I received from Thomas. Five stars all the way.

Excellent experience with Connolly’s Volkswagen Letterkenny. Thomas was fantastic to deal with throughout the entire process. He was helpful and available to answer any questions I had. The car was delivered from Letterkenny to my home in Tipperary, making the experience completely hassle-free. I would highly recommend Thomas and Connolly’s Volkswagen to anyone looking for a new car!

I recently just bought a car from Josh at Connollys Volkswagen Letterkenny. Josh could not have been any more helpful to me. Josh was so professional and made the whole process go very smoothly, which was amazing. Thank you Josh for everything and I look forward to working with you again very soon.

I have recently purchased a car here and had the pleasure of dealing with Thomas throughout the process. From start to finish, he was professional, friendly, and extremely helpful. He took the time to answer all of my questions, kept me informed every step of the way, and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.
There was never any pressure, and I felt confident that Thomas genuinely wanted to help me find the right car. His excellent customer service and attention to detail made a real difference.
I would highly recommend this dealership, and especially Thomas, to anyone looking for a hassle-free car buying experience. Thank you again for all your help!

Great experience buying my car here. Thomas was friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with. No pressure, good communication, and everything went smoothly. Great experience overall. Thank you.
