I got a second hand Kia a year ago from another dealer and chose Joe Duffy Kia to be my service center as I live nearby. Last year there was a recall on my car which I was able to get done here with no hassle and they even did a free health check as part of the recall work. The customer service was efficient and friendly. This week I had to do the annual service along with diagnostics of a mirror issue. Again the customer service was very friendly and the car was ready for collection after a few hours. Excellent experience so far and I would recommend this dealer. I have a warranty repair booked for March and fingers crossed for more of the same kind of experience. If all continues to go well with the car and the service I might consider a new Kia later this year.

Had a great experience with Cathal and the rest of the crew. They gave me a great trade in price against a lovely Kia. Betty happy, would recommend.

I recently bought a new KIA EV5 in March and could not have had a better experience. Many thanks to Cathal for all your help and guidance it was much appreciated.

Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience.

We paid a €500 deposit for a Kia EV9 in August 2025 based on clear commitments: agreed price, 0% finance, and delivery in early January. We provided all details and trusted the dealership to follow through.

From January onwards, communication was poor and reactive. We had to chase updates repeatedly, only to be told vague responses like “it’s in transit.” Months passed with no clarity.

During this time, finance terms changed publicly, so we visited in person to confirm whether this would affect our agreement. We were clearly told it would not.

Then suddenly on March 24th, we were told the car was ready. When we came in on March 25th to complete the purchase, everything had changed — higher price, finance now at 3.9%, and unbelievably, no finance application had even been started.

This is completely unacceptable. After holding our deposit for months and giving repeated assurances, they simply walked away from the original deal. What’s worse is that when we specifically asked about these changes earlier, we were reassured nothing would be affected — which turned out to be completely untrue.

To make matters worse, the manager’s attitude was dismissive and disrespectful, as if our time and commitment meant nothing.

This experience shows a serious lack of professionalism, transparency, and basic customer respect. I would strongly advise others to be very cautious when dealing with this dealership. You are at risk if you are there!
To the dealership , We got enough and please do not reply to this.. What you have done is unfair. To the public, think twice before you go there!

I am very disappointed with my service experience. I booked the premium €436 service but called back the next day to downgrade to the basic €240 plan. I was assured this change was noted. Despite this, I was charged the full €436 premium price after less than 1.5 hours of work.

Furthermore, I raised an issue with the back seatbelt sensor, but was told simply to "test it," leading me to doubt if any proper diagnostic work was done at all.
This rushed service, compounded by the major error in billing, resulted in me paying nearly €450 for minimal work. When questioned, the only explanation for the extra cost was vaguely "more filters" versus "just an oil change." I received very poor value for money. Due to this significant billing error and the lack of diagnostic effort, I will not be returning to this dealership.

Receptionist was very welcoming, however!

**update as of 28/10/2025**

The team have completely stopped replying to my emails. They offered a “free” brake fluid change which wasn’t included in the crazy €430 feed (€250 was for labour) and have said that they “don’t want to start removing parts off the car” as I requested a refunded between the overcharged amount (their internal mistake) and the cost of the agreed basic service plan (€240). Would not be returning here.

I would highly recommend Jessica and Amy at Spirit Motor Group Sandyford. From the very beginning, they were extremely professional and helpful when booking my car in for a service.

They kept me fully updated throughout the process and maintained excellent communication, which made everything very straightforward and stress-free. The service was completed incredibly quickly, and I was really impressed with how efficient and organised everything was.

A big thank you to Jessica and Amy for their professionalism, great communication and excellent customer service. I really appreciate how smoothly everything was handled.

I’ll definitely be returning to Spirit Motor Group Sandyford for all my future services. Highly recommended!

I’ve always had an excellent experience with the Volvo service team at Spirit Motors. The team is professional, helpful, and easy to deal with every time.

Communication is always clear, with great expectation management from start to finish. There are no hidden costs, and everything is explained properly before any work is carried out. The quality of the service is consistently very high, and I always feel confident that the car is in good hands.

I would highly recommend Spirit Motors Volvo Service to anyone looking for a reliable, professional, and trustworthy service team.

I brought my car to Spirit Volvo for the first time for an annual check up. I reported a small issue to investigate on top of routine maintenance service. I was told upfront about the cost and how long it would take to fix it (if confirmed). Tests done, no issue detected, no extra fees. Two knowledgeable and super professional gents at the service desk. Excellent customer service, great experience. Recommended!

We had a great experience with Mani. He took us out on a thorough test drive, explained every detail of the car, and answered all of our questions. He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We really appreciated the time and effort he put in to make sure we were well-informed. Excellent service from start to finish.

Just received my 26D Volvo EX40 Ultra from Spirit Motors Sandyford. It's in Vapour Grey with a black roof and 20 ins alloy wheels. The interior is grey leather and looks super with the exterior color. Driving the 250hp single motor extended range is a dream. It's so quiet and is such a sturdy drive. Also enjoying the 13 speaker Harmon Kardon sound system with surround sound.
I am delighted with it. Thanks to Emmett and his team for a great deal.
Highly recommended 👍

I recently visited Volvo Spirit Group regarding an issue with my CV joint, which required replacing the shaft. I want to start by saying that the front desk staff were excellent—very polite, helpful, and professional. I’ve also heard great things about the service team’s expertise.

However, the waiting time was quite frustrating. It took about two months just to get a diagnostic appointment, and after confirming the issue, I was told I’d need to wait another month for the actual repair. In total, that’s around three months without a proper resolution, which is very inconvenient—especially when the car is not in a usable condition.

While I understand that demand and scheduling can be challenging, such long delays make it difficult to rely on the service when you need timely repairs.

Overall, great staff and likely high-quality work, but the waiting time is a major drawback that needs improvement
