Michael Lyng Motors Ltd was established by Michael and Mary Lyng in November 1996. We secured the Mitsubishi franchise and after a very productive and successful two years the Hyundai franchise was secured in March 1998. In the intervening years Michael Lyng Motors has grown exponentially and currently the company operates its Hyundai Main Dealerships from state of the art premises at Hebron Road, Kilkenny and Sleaty Road Carlow. Since 2012, Michael Lyng Motors on the Hebron Road in Kilkenny City are the new main dealers for Ford in Kilkenny City and County. Michael Lyng Motors now offers car, van, 4x4 sales and servicing plus all the back up services expected of a top line Ford dealership.

Michael Lyng's staff were a pleasure to deal with. So efficient and professional.
They were sorting out a sensor light, gave me a lift down town and also offered to collect me when car was ready. But I was happy to walk back as it was lovely day. Definitely recommend them excellent to deal with. Thanks for everything.

I recently purchased a Hyundai Tucson from this dealership, and I am extremely satisfied with the entire experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly, professional, and very welcoming.

A special thank you to the sales manager Ciaran Muldowney, who was incredibly helpful, honest, and attentive throughout the whole process. He answered all my questions clearly, gave me detailed information about the vehicle, and made everything simple and stress-free. I never felt pressured, which made the experience even better.

The dealership itself was clean, modern, and well-organized, creating a very comfortable atmosphere. Everything was handled efficiently, from viewing the car to completing the paperwork. The vehicle was presented in excellent condition, exactly as described.

What impressed me most was the high level of customer service and professionalism. It is clear that this dealership values its customers and takes pride in its reputation.

Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a car. Thank you to Ciaran Muldowney and the whole team for making this purchase smooth, pleasant, and memorable.

Excellent customer service, good communication with car owner before during and after the service. Reasonable price. You can feel confident that your car has been thoroughly inspected and is road worthy.

5 Stars – Top-Class Service as Always!

We recently bought our latest car here, and Jamie Owens was fantastic as always. Having dealt with him on two previous purchases, we knew we were in good hands.
Jamie makes the whole process so seamless and stress-free - his customer service is top class!

It’s so reassuring knowing that if we ever have a question or an issue down the line, we can always rely on Jamie or Sean in the Service Dept. Both of them are super helpful and always go the extra mile for their customers.
