Truely excellent experience! Phoned this location in advance as we were looking for a specific nut lock to open wheel nut. The man I spoke to on phone (think his name was John) said come on and we will see what we have. He unlocked the nuts on the 4 wheels, and put the new ones on for us. He had to get another coworker to help him. They were really great. Excellent service, and really courteous. Highly recommend for any customer needs.

Very disappointing, i had my car in for service and diagnostics in J Keane services Roscommon and the response i got from service desk was there’s something draining my battery which needs another diagnostic session to find out and my infotainment system had an issue which they say didnt show up on the diagnostics and that i didnt mention the same prior to the procedure and they might book me in for another diagnostics to find it and charge 100€ per hour for the same for labour.
I need to know what does diagnostics mean for this dealership, is it separate for every single part or is it my fault that i didnt mention every single malfunction properly.

My service plan with VW financial services includes the diagnostics and report which i didnt get from the service dealer here.

Horrible experience definitely not to VW standards. I went here for service on my VW car for break service, my car had no other issues upon bringing the car in for the break service. I received a clean bill of health from the dealer after the service.

Immediately after taking my car home the lights on the dashboard malfunctioned and the cruise control stopped working. A week later I started hearing a rattling under the right wheel so I called the dealer to get a new appointment to get it checked.

Upon return inspection I was given a full list of defects in the car, many of which were serious and the dealer itself made me sign a waiver for as the car was dangerous to drive. I was quoted €1300 to fix.

Seeing i had not driven the car since the original service it was obvious that the damage was caused by the previous service. I researched the issue online and connected the two pieces that is was all tied to the poor service done on the vehicle.

The dealership didn’t provide me any diagnostic reports and wouldn’t accept responsibility for the damage their mechanic caused. Claiming all those parts magically failed at same time or that I “hit a bump” which caused the damage.

It’s really disgusting to say the least, I’ve been to many VW and the service is always great. The fact the dealer denied everything and made me drive the vehicle home by signing a waiver that it was a risk to life just shows you they don’t value their customers at all.

Poor experience. Waited over 5 weeks for a diagnostic on an engine light, only to be charged €110 and handed a vague repair estimate for hundreds of euros with no breakdown of parts & labor costs. Because the car was purchased in Northern Ireland it was still under warranty in NI, I requested the part number so my original NI dealer could stock it before my visit to them.

Even though I offered to return here for future paid regular service (oil changes etc.) and for any issues once the NI manufacturer warranty expired, they flat out refused to provide the part number just to force a paid repair with them on the spot.

They’re after sales & service dept completely lack customer focus and only care about immediate profit. I called up another local dealer, and they provided the part number without any issues or questions.

Booked my car in for a glitch into the infotainment system. They ended up with antenna issue, which is no related to the issue at all, they even didn’t look at the radio at all. Repair costs 1100€ plus 110 charged for diagnostic. I’ve sorted the problem myself with 200€ ed everything working fine now. I’d say to stay far away from this garage!!!very bad experience
