Our passion for cars dates right back to 1939 when Thomas Connolly first opened a car dealership. Thomas’ son, Kevin, returning from New York, developed the business and brought US-style focus on customer service to the industry in Ireland.

Still a family business, Connolly Motor Group is built on a solid foundation of being approachable, helpful and experts in our field.

Mercedes-Benz is the latest branch to the business, joining Audi and Volkswagen. Our showrooms are based in Collooney, Co. Sligo and Ballybrit in Galway, taking the number of nationwide Mercedes-Benz dealerships to 15. With over 200 staff across Connolly Motor Group, and growing, there’s always an expert who can help with any questions.

The showrooms have been specifically built to showcase up to 15 of the marque’s latest models, along with a range of Star Select cars on the forecourt.

A dedicated aftersales centres are based at the showrooms with 10 vehicle bays to work on our customers’ cars. While your car is being serviced, you can enjoy making the most of the private customer work stations that are fitted with desks and WiFi.

We also have a parts and accessories shop where you can adapt your Mercedes-Benz to suit you and source any official replacement parts. Our team will advise you on what is needed for your car and arrange for a fitting.

Connolly's Mercedes Sligo is a fantastic place to deal with. Mercedes cars can sometimes have their issues, but what really makes this dealership stand out is its staff, especially Conor at the service desk.

Conor is the first person you meet when you arrive and hand over your keys, and he sets the standard for excellent customer service. I would give him a million stars if I could. While I haven't had much interaction with the other staff members, Conor is truly the star of the show. He consistently goes above and beyond to help customers, always taking the time to listen, explain things clearly, and make the whole experience as smooth as possible.

People like Conor are rare. He is a real asset to the company, and I sincerely hope Connolly's never loses him. He is worth his weight in gold and is a big reason why customers keep coming back.

Reliable and efficient, very high standards

I recently purchased a car in Connnollys Mercedes Sligo. Brian was fantastic. He was extremely helpful and very knowledgable. He made the experience very enjoyable

they replaced the rear suspension beam, after replacing the tires they started to wear unevenly, I bought new tires and they adjusted them again they said it was fine now, after some time I saw that the tires were still wearing unevenly, I drove again without changing the tires and the rear ones were worn from the inside quite badly but the authorized service did more measurements and they said everything was fine, I don't know how it's possible that they didn't notice the worn tires. My advice is to avoid this service at all costs.
