Delighted with my new Cupra Terramar from George Corbett Motors! Thanks to the team for their help through selection, finance options and after sales follow ups. ❤️ 10/10 would recommend!

Had a fantastic experience with George Corbett Motors from start to finish. The entire process of buying my car was smooth, professional, and completely hassle-free.
A special thank you to Calem, who was an absolute gentleman throughout. He was incredibly helpful, kind, and patient, taking the time to answer all my questions and making sure everything was taken care of. His excellent customer service made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free.

Outstanding and Wonderful Experience overall.

I had a fantastic experience purchasing my new Skoda Kamiq 2026 from George Corbett. Sean Purcell was excellent—he thoroughly explained everything, answered all my questions, and provided regular updates throughout the process. The customer service was top-notch.

This is our second Skoda from George Corbett, and they will absolutely be my first choice for any future car purchase. A special mention must go to Sean Purcell, who was fantastic and is a real asset to the team.

Excellent to deal with from start to finish.I got a prompt reply when I enquired about the vehicle online and a time and date was arranged to view the vehicle. I had to bring the car viewing for an earlier date and Calem sorted it for us. Our salesperson Calem Meehan was excellent to deal with and the whole process was very smooth. A good deal on our trade in (Cupra Formentor diesel) and very happy with the car we have now we bought (another Cupra Formentor Diesel). The follow up telephone call from Caleb to see how the car was doing and to see if there were any questions was appreciated. Will be the first place I’ll call to when I change again.

⭐️⭐️

**Maximum 2 stars — and even those are largely because of the higher management, not the sales or service team.**

My personal experience of trying to purchase a car from George Corbett Motors (GC Motors) in Ireland was unfortunately not a positive one. In my experience, the dealership fell short in two important areas: **transparency and consumer rights**.

During my discussions with the sales team, I was initially told that the vehicle came with a **6-month warranty**. Later, I was offered an “increased” warranty of **12 months**. Fortunately, I found the original DoneDeal advertisement, which stated that the vehicle already came with a **12-month warranty**. This left me with the impression that information was not being presented transparently and that the sales process was taking advantage of my limited knowledge of the Irish car market, having recently moved from the UK.

What I found particularly concerning was the discussion around my **consumer rights**. As I was purchasing the vehicle entirely online and without physically viewing it beforehand, I specifically asked about the applicable consumer protections. I was told that a **14-day cooling-off period did not apply**.

I found this response concerning because, based on my understanding of the **Consumer Rights Act 2022**, distance and off-premises contracts can provide consumers with a 14-day cancellation right.
I would therefore have expected the dealership to provide a clear and accurate explanation of my rights rather than simply dismissing the possibility.

Overall, my experience was disappointing. I expected greater transparency and a more professional approach to explaining consumer rights, particularly when dealing with a fully online vehicle purchase.

I can only give GC Motors **2 stars**, and those are primarily for the higher management, who definitely look out for their sales team. Based on my personal experience, the sales and service interactions did not meet the standard I expected.

This is a Shout Out to all The Customers Buying Car
KNOW YOUR CONSUMER RIGHTS - Read about 14 Day Cooling Off Period for online purchases, there are way you can increase this cooling off period to 12 months too.
